In January of 2007 we founded Arkansas NAPVI, a state chapter of NAPVI, the National Association for Parents of Children with Visual Impairments. The goal of our group is to help visually impaired children, including those with other disabilities, the chance to bloom to their full potential. To do this we are committed to providing information, education, emotional support, and networking opportunities to Arkansas parents of the visually impaired. We will also partner with other professionals, facilities, and organizations in the state to ensure that the needs of our children are being met. We encourage all Arkansas parents of visually impaired children and professionals who work with visually impaired children to join us in making a difference in the lives of these special kids!!!
