We all remember what it felt like when we found out our child was visually impaired. If you were like the majority, you didn't know what to do next- and probably continue to run into situations that bring up new questions and concerns. Well, it is Arkansas NAPVI 's goal to bring parents together, along with outside resources from doctors, therapists and orientation & mobility specialists, to help answer these questions and share information others may need. A parent with a pre-teenage daughter probably has lots of ideas and thoughts that could lend help and comfort to a parent with a younger child going through many of the same obstacles the other parent already experienced.
